In order for Israel to reach the Promised Land, they had to meticulously follow God’s leading, in their case a cloud by day and a fire by night that hovered over the tabernacle until it was time to move. God’s method of guiding His people varies in different situations. What remains constant is His faithfulness to give His people whatever direction they need. Believers should always immerse themselves in prayer and the study of the Bible as they look to Him for guidance.
