READ ACTS 2:14–21
There was a time when education was reserved for the elite. Public schools were established so that all children could have access to education.
Similarly, in the Old Testament era, the Holy Spirit was reserved for a select few. In the New Testament era, everyone has access to the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams” (Acts 2:17).
God wants to use every Christian to expand His Kingdom. It is important to treat everyone, of all ages, as brothers and sisters in Christ. Prejudice has no place in the kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit uses men and women of all ages, and even children, to fulfill His purposes.
When everyone functions in the power provided by the Holy Spirit, the church will be strong and the kingdom of God will expand as God intends.
Challenge for Today: View the children and teens in your church as valued members of the Body.
